Understand what we collect when you visit

You are on an editorial site that reviews a broker for readers in Uganda. We are not that broker, we are not connected to it, and we do not open accounts, take deposits, or give financial advice. That distinction shapes everything below. When you read a page, we collect only what a normal website needs to function and to see whether its articles are useful: the pages you open, the time you spend, the type of device and browser you use, the approximate region your connection comes from, and the referring link that brought you here. Some of this arrives through cookies and similar technology, and you can block or clear these in your browser settings.

We do not ask you for a passport, a national ID, a bank account, a card number, or proof of income, and we do not want them. We do not create trading accounts and we do not hold client money. If you choose to write to us through the contact form on this site, we receive the message and whatever name and contact detail you decide to include, and we keep it only as long as needed to answer you.

Know where your data is held and who receives it

Our servers and the service providers that support this site may sit outside Uganda, so your information can be transferred to and stored in other countries. Those providers cover hosting, site security, and basic traffic measurement, and they act on our instructions rather than for their own purposes. We share information with them only to the extent each one needs to run its part of the site.

We never sell your data, and we do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a broker so that it can market to you. We may disclose information if a lawful authority requires it, or to protect the site and its readers from abuse. Otherwise it stays with us and the providers described above.

Use your rights over your information

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct something wrong, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and you may withdraw any consent you gave earlier without affecting what was done before.

To exercise any of these, use the contact form on this site and describe your request clearly. We will respond within a reasonable period and may ask a question or two to confirm that the request is really yours. If you believe we have handled your information badly, you can raise it with us first, and you remain free to complain to the data protection authority in Uganda.

Set the age limit and protect children

This site is written for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Brokerage review material is not suitable for minors, and nothing here should be read by them as an invitation to trade.

If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, tell us through the same form and we will remove it.

See the legal basis we rely on

We process the limited information described above because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving an editorial review site, because you asked us to respond when you contacted us, and, for cookies that are not strictly necessary, because you consented. Where the law requires consent for a specific use, we rely on that consent alone.

We keep information only as long as it serves the purpose it was gathered for, then delete or anonymise it. If we change this policy, the updated text will appear on this page.
